I look at this and see a very powerful picture. One that can allow each viewer take their own meaning into their heart.
You are most defiantly a beautiful young woman.
I find the choice of the extreme eyelashes, and background combined with the porcelain quality of the skin all work together. The paleness of the lips also adds to this piece.
I look at the empty plastic fork and see sacrifice. I view this as a statement about the sacrifices that woman, models in particular make to fit the "plastic" image that seems to prevail.
I am not sure that is the message that was intended, but that is what I get. A very powerful statement. Perhaps we should strive a bit less to have the perfect eyelashes, the perfect skin, the perfect weight, perhaps we need to be happy in the imperfection that makes us all unique and human?
So let me just say wow. At first moment i saw it thats the reaction. I like the make up and expressive face on the model. Its simetric and realistic. The only thing i dont like its background color. i would like it more brighter. I think its saying that models eat too i mean she is all in make up and modeling and there is something associating on food and her look is telling something. Expressive and simple, very adorable. I would like to see more works like this one. Light. Impression, fashion, simetric and beauty. I admire. Good job!
I hadn't read the description when first looking at the image. My mind said that something was wrong. I saw the center of the fork, then my eye went to above your ear, the little v shape in the hair is identical. Then I read the description.. I was right, it was a flip. We look the way we do because of the slight differences of each side of our face. At a museum, there was a mirror that would show you two reflections of one side of your face, like you did in the photo. Everyone was freaked because they really didn't look like themselves any longer. Perhaps that's why you are not happy with the result. Though a very cool and gorgeous picture.. you really don't look like yourself. I realize that is an odd statement because you carry off so many looks but in the heart of all your images, we recognize YOU.
Forks usually have 4 spikes... Wasn't it properly centered? Since we are looking at one half of the picture I assume you are only 50% happy with the result... :/
i would of made a darker, maybe more textured background. your make up looks amazing but maybe a little darker on the inner corners. as for the fork-love the symbolism but i would of made it so all you could see was the prongs if it was white. you see the stem and that just leads the eye away from the face. if you didn't use a white fork-maybe a fork the color of your eyeshadow-a little lighter, with intricate designs. kinda saying yea i eat but i'm still a model. other then that this is a great pic and all of your work is amazing!!!! If you doubt my love, you doubt my heart. If you doubt my heart, you doubt my mind. If you doubt my mind, you doubt my soul. If you doubt my soul, you doubt my world. And if you doubt my world, you are doubting yourself
Breathtaking, as usual. It's no wonder I find you more beautiful than some of my favorite models, you look completely natural with a reflected side. I think you may be unhappy with the fork That's the only thing I can see that looks odd in this picture, is the created piece making 5 prongs.
